Nathan Mitchell Coulter-Nile is an Australian bowling all-rounder. He is known as River for his nickname. He was born on October 11, 1987, on 11 October 1987, Perth, Western Australia. Nile represented Australian National side in One Day International and Twenty20 International formats for ICC. He is an all-around performer who several times delivered the true potential down the order while batting at number six or below. The Nile represented Perth Scorchers and West Australia for Big Bash League and first-class cricket.
He has played for Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Coulter Nile played first mega-event when he was named for the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy in Australia’s 15-man squad, which was hosted by England and Wales. He represented his state for under-17 and under-19 teams from Perth, Western Australia. In April 2019, he was named in Australia’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
Nathan replaced Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc during 2018-19 Cricket Australia season and performed well and didn’t disappoint. His consistency of getting breakthroughs and tight bowling spells gave him more confidence and management decided to keep Coulter Nile in the squad until the next cricket season.
