Eoin Morgan is an England Cricketer. Morgan’s full name is Eoin Joseph Gerard Morgan. He was born on September 10, 1986, in Dublin, Ireland. Moggie is the nickname of an English cricketer. Eoin is Middle-order batsman, left-handed bowler, and ODI and T20 Captain for England Cricket Team. Irish born England cricket team captain represented his country of birth at the international level in 2009 before becoming an English citizen. He is the first of two players only who scored ODI hundred for both nations.
Eoin is labelled as the best finisher due to his hitting ability and being so skilful in playing 360-degree cricketing shots with one of the favourite reverse sweeps. Morgan took responsibility as an England cricket team captain on December 19, 2014, by replacing Alastair Cook and represented the English team during the 2015 Cricket World Cup. Morgan became the youngest Irish international player to represent Ireland for Under-13/15 and 17. He captained Irish Under-19 squad for 2005-Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Eoin became leading run-scorer in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup history with an aggregate of 606 runs. He made the first-class debut for Middlesex at Uxbridge on July 5, 2008. Morgan dismissed for 99 runs on his ODI debut for Ireland on August 5, 2006, against Scotland at European Championship, he got run out and became the first international batsman to dismiss at 99 on debut.
T20 Cricket Career
Morgan made his debut for the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore during IPL season 2010. He played for Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL season 2011 and remained part of KKR for the next three years. Morgan missed IPL season 2014 due to England ODI series v Sri Lanka at home when Indian Premier League 2014 took place. He became part of Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL season 2015-16. He was auctioned to Kings XI Punjab for IPL season 2017. Morgan made his debut for Pakistan Super League season-2 during 2017 and played for Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings for PSL-2018 Season-3.
Eoin made his debut for Mzansi Super League T20 tournament for its maiden edition for Tshwane Spartans on October 2018. Mzansi Super League is South African Super League. Morgan hit a six off the final ball of the innings to win the title for Sydney Thunder against Melbourne Stars in KFC Twenty Big Bash League. Eoin made his KFC Big Bash League for Sydney Thunder for the BBL season 2015-16. He made his debut for Barbados Tridents in Caribbean Premier League CPL Season-2017.
