Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja is batting all-rounder with his slow left-arm orthodox bowling action and left-handed batting style, commonly known as Jaddu or Rockstar for his nicknames. Ravindra Jadeja was born on December 6, 1988, Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. Jadeja has represented India National Cricket Team in all formats of International Cricket. He made his first-class cricket debut for Saurashtra in 2006, List A cricket for West Zone in Duleep Trophy in 2006-07 and plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Super League.
He ranked as Number 1 Test bowler jointly with Ravichandran Ashwin and became the first pair to be jointly ranked at the same position in the history of International Cricket. Jadeja named as ICC World ODI XI during the year 2013 and 2016 and ranked 2nd Test all-rounders in ICC Test All-Rounders Rankings. In April 2019, he was named in India squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Jadeja became the first Indian left-arm spinner to complete a milestone of 150 wickets in One Day International on January 22, 2017, against England when he dismissed Sam Billings at Eden Gardens, Kolkata and ranked in top ten positions leaving behind Ravichandran Ashwin in ICC ODI Bowler Rankings. He became part of India U-19 squad for ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup in Malaysia in 2008, that won the World Cup under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, current Indian Skipper.
He scored 60* runs off 77 balls on his ODI debut game against Sri Lanka on February 8, 2009. Jadeja is the first Indian and 8th overall in the history of first-class cricket to score three Triple Centuries which he scored against Orissa with 314 runs off 375 balls, Gujarat with 303 runs unbeaten and Railways with 331 runs off 501 balls.
He was ranked as No.1 ODI bowler and became the first Indian since Anil Kumble 1996 and 4th overall Indian after Kapil Dev, Maninder Singh and Anil Kumble to ranked at this position in ICC ODI Bowler Rankings in August 2013. Jadeja joined the triple first-class centuries club with Don Bradman, Brian Lara, Bill Ponsford, Wally Hammond, WG Grace, Graeme Hick, and Mike Hussey.
