Euro T20 Slam Fixture, Schedule, Time Table and Venues

Euro T20 Slam - the first every type of shorter format cricket league whos fixture announced. ET20S is a featuring next year by 2020 for its first edition. Euro T20 Slam Fixture for its first edition revealed now. For the European cricket fans, Euro T20 Slam is the first cricket league in Europe-first league to be played in multiple countries and the first one in the region that gave birth to the concept of league cricket. 

The first edition of Euro T20 Slam postponed until the next summer. ET20S management is up right now for the inaugural edition of the league. All teams finalized before the just start of the tournament but due to some issues, it postponed. Euro T20 Slam - professional T20 franchise cricket league organized by Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland. Professional T20 cricket like Pakistan Super League, Indian Premier League or Big Bash League.

The three cricket boards from Europe will be organizing the Euro T20 tournament. That includes Cricket Ireland, Cricket Scotland and Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB). The Six big cities will be hosting the cricket tournament together with Belfast and Dublin in Ireland, Glasgow, and Edinburgh in Scotland, and Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. 

ET20S sponsored and promoted by the GS Holding Inc. & Woods Entertainment and perhaps going to experience cricket in the magnitude which has never been witnessed before, especially in the European countries. ET20S aims to captivate attention globally and will bring fans of the cricketing world together. Cricket has become the second most-watched game around the globe and recognized as a national sport in many countries.

Tournament Format

All participant teams allowed to have a maximum of 7 overseas players. And 9 domestic players from the host franchises. From three countries two franchises from each country take part in the tournament. And 5 overseas players can take part in a single match.

The aim is to improvise the cricket and league tournament in the region to polish young talent for competitive cricket. The tournament is going to be more spicy and competitive in the local market. A very strong and positive message will retrieve attention from the European regions as likely with other sports.

Euro T20 Slam Teams 

Euro T20 Slam league will start from August 30, 2020. And consist of 33 total matches including a semi-final and final on the game as well. Both semi-finals will be played on the same date September 21, 2020. At the Malahide Cricket Club Ground, Ireland and final on  September 22.

The tournament scheduled every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Two group stage matches will be played between six contestants and the rest of the day’s single match is scheduled. Euro T20 tournament will be hosted by Ireland, the Netherlands, and Scotland. The tournament is organized with a double round-robin format and knockout at the semi-final.

Euro T20 Slam Venues

Three cricket grounds from Ireland, Scotland and the Netherland will be hosting the ET20S tournament which includes VRA Ground Netherland, Malahide Cricket Club Ground Ireland and the Grange Club Edinburgh Scotland. Netherland and Scotland both venues will be hosting ten matches for each of Euro Slam cricket tournaments but Ireland will host 10 league group stage match furthermore knockout stage and final of the Euro T20 Slam as well. 

  • VRA Cricket Ground

  • The Grange Club Ground

VRA Cricket Ground - second Dutch cricket ground to install grass wicket and situated in Amstelveen. The Netherland and known as the home of VRA Amsterdam since 1939. The cricket ground has a capacity of 4500 spectators and regularly hosts World Cricket League, International Cup, and CB40, first-class and List A cricket of the country. 

The VRA has hosted the 1999 Cricket World Cup matches between Pakistan, Australia, and India as well. In July 2006, the first ODI played between the host nation and Sri Lanka where SL scored 443/9 in 50 overs. VRA Cricket Ground will host ten matches of the Euro T20 tournament during the very first phase of the league. 

The Grange Club Cricket Ground - home ground to Edinburgh, Scotland. Grange is the regular home of the National Cricket Team of Scotland and hosted cricket series at Edinburg. The very first International cricket match has been played between Pakistan and Scotland which host nation lost to the visitors by 5 wickets.

The Grange Cricket Ground has hosted the most exciting cricket matches between Pakistan, England, and Australia as well. The Grange Cricket Ground will host Euro T20 League second stage 10 matches between the six contenders.  The Ground has a capacity of almost 11000 to 12000 spectators.

Euro T20 Slam Fixture

According to the Euro T20 Slam fixture the Netherlands will host some group stage matches between all teams of the tournament. The first match of the tournament according to the ET20S schedule is all set to start from August 30, 2020, next year. Netherlands will host Amsterdam Knights vs Rotterdam Rhinos as the first match of the tournament. The last match scheduled between Amsterdam Knights and Rotterdam Rhinos on September 5, 2020.

According to the Euro T20 Slam fixture for its first edition as ET20S 2020 edition - Scotland will contest some matches of the group stage at home ground. ET20S is a special cricket event and Europeans were waiting for the home ground cricket league. The last match of the tournament scheduled between Edinburgh Rocks and Glasgow Giants on September 12, 2020

Ireland will host some group stage matches for the inaugural edition of the league. According to the Euro T20 Slam fixture, Ireland will host the first match of the tournament between Dublin Chiefs and Belfast Titans. Cricket fans are excited to watch this historic league at home ground.
