Hendrik Erasmus van der Dussen is commonly known as Rassie van der Dussen who is the middle-order right-handed batsman and occasionally leg-break bowler. He represented South Africa National Cricket Team in ODI and T20I. Van der Dussen has played his first-class cricket for the Highveld Lions cricket team. Rassie van der Dussen was named in Cape Town Knight Riders for the inaugural edition of the T20 Global League.
The tournament postponed for some reason in October 2017 by Cricket South Africa. Dussen was included in the draft players list and auctioned to Vancouver Knights for the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament, and remained leading runs score with 255 runs. He made his debut for the Jozi Stars during the inaugural edition of the South African Mzansi Super League T20 tournament in October 2018.
He played four Test games so far and scored a total of 274 runs with his highest individual innings of 98. In his just four Test games, he scored three half-centuries with his batting averages of 34.25. Van der Dussen posted seven half-centuries in his 21 One Day Internationals with the highest 95 runs innings. Van der Dussen played fourteen Twenty20 Internationals scoring with averages of 31.23.
He has been outstanding throughout his short International cricket career in all three formats. Dussen posted over 7600 runs in first-class cricket, 4000 in List A and 3400 in Twenty20 games. Van der Dussen represented different teams in limited over cricket leagues in CPL and GT20 Canada. He represented St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in Caribbean Premier League and Vancouver Knights in Global T20 Canada. Dussen represented Islamabad United in Pakistan Super League.
