Ben has a fantastic cricket season in first-class and especially last season of Big Bash League 2018-19. Chris Lynn is a player who can make a difference with his bat with an opening start. Lynn is probably to open innings for Qalandars along with Fakhar Zaman.

Although Qalandars have a strong squad but not as like other franchises have - question mark arises will Qalandars have to change their position on the PSL points table. The team has exceptional all-rounders such as Sohail Akhtar, David Wiese, Hais Rauf, Seekkuge Prasanna, and Mohammad Hafeez. Not a very strong squad as compared to other franchises in PSL 6 season.

Lahore Qalandar is the second most expensive franchise in Pakistan Super League. Former Pakistani fast bowler Aqib Javed coached the team and captained by Azhar Ali, Brendon McCullum, Fakhar Zaman, AB De Villiers, and Mohammad Hafeez.

The franchise has been so unlucky during the entire PSL journey so far, for being at the last place at the PSL points table. Pakistan opening batsman Fakhar Zaman is the leading run-scorer for Lahore Qalandars while Yasir Shah as the leading wicket-taker.

Qalandars won only two games out of 8 during PSL 2016 and straightaway knocked out of the tournament. The team was expected to bounce back for the next season but only manage to win three games out of 8 and against were out of the competition.

The team made significant changes in the PSL 2018 draft to give a tough time to the opponents. Qalandars won only two games, six lost, one tied, and 1 NR during PSL 3 and were out of the tournament due to NRR low.

They changed the entire strategy of the game to win PSL 2020 title but ended up with just a 30 Strike rate. Qalandars were knocked out for the 4th time from the group stage by claiming the lowest spot in PSL 2020 Standings. The team only won 3 games out of 10.
