Essex T20 Blast Fixtures, Schedule, Time Table and Venues

Essex County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen first-class county clubs that compete in different tournaments. Essex CCC to compete in Specsavers County Championship, Royal One-Day Cup and Vitality Blast T20 Championship. The team competes in T20 Blast as Essex Eagles that have won the single title of the championship last season. According to the Essex T20 Blast Fixtures 2020, the to play their opening match of the season against Glamorgan on Friday, May 29.

As per the Vitality Blast Fixture 2020, Essex to play most of their games at Chelmsford County Ground. Essex to play fourteen matches at the group stage of the tournament before making their way to playoffs. The team will play their two matches on day time at 02:30 PM local time and the rest of twelve matches at 06:30 PM. Essex to feature in different cities including Chelmsford, Taunton, Southampton, Cardiff, London, Cardiff, Hove, and Northwood County Ground.

Essex Eagles to play their first two games against Glamorgan and Somerset on May 29 and 31 respectively. Surrey T20 Blast Fixtures, Schedule, Time Table and Venues

Surrey County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen counties that competes in Specsavers County Championship, Royal One-Day Cup and Vitality Blast. Surrey CCC competes from South Division during T20 Blast matches. According to the Vitality Blast T20 Fixtures 2020, the team will face Middlesex in their opening match. According to the T20 Blast Fixtures, the Surrey’s opening match for Vitality Blast to commence at 06:30 PM at Lord’s on Thursday, May 28.

The opening ceremony of the Vitality Blast 2020, scheduled on May 28 in London with the opening match between South Counties. According to the tournament format, Surrey to play fourteen matches at the group stage. As per the Vitality Blast format, top-four teams from particular each division to qualify for the playoffs. Surrey to play their first three games against Middlesex, Kent and Glamorgan County Clubs.

Natwest T20 Blast Teams Captain and Players List

Vitality Blast is the professional Twenty20 Cricket League established by England and Wales Cricket Board. The T20 Blast is a competition for English and Welsh first-class counties. There are eighteen Natwest T20 Blast Teams, of which Leicestershire Foxes are the most successful team with three titles. In the most recent and last edition of the Vitality Blast 2019 season, Essex Eagles won their maiden title of the season. The tournament format stands still with Group Stage and Knock-out in the double round-robin.

The eighteen first-class counties compete in the Natwest T20 Blast or Vitality Blast contest. Primarily the teams are divided into two groups called North and South Division in T20 Cup. In the first round of the tournament, nine teams from each group contest with a double round-robin format. As per the tournament format, the top four teams from each group advance to the knockout or playoffs—the Super-8 match four Quarter Finals, Semi-Final, and Final based on qualification to next-round.

The upcoming 18th edition of Vitality Blast commences from May amid attracting large crowds during the school summer holidays. As per the T20 Blast Fixtures 2020, the opening match of the season scheduled on May 29 between Surrey and Middlesex at Kennington Oval Ground. The first phase of the tournament ends on July 12 with teams ranking on Vitality Blast Points Table. The T20 Blast Quater Finals, Semi-Finals and Final day games to resume from August 18 - September 5.

North Division Team Squads

There are nine counties to competes in the Vitality Blast T20 contest this year. According to the tournament format, each team competes in a double round-robin format. All teams will play fourteen matches to make their way to the top-fours. Every time the winner of the game will be awarded two points while loser with nill.

On average, teams required to win approx five or six games to stay in top-fours. From the North Division - The top four teams will advance to playoffs or knockout stage of the tournament.

Durham Squad

Durham County Cricket Club in the North Division’s first-class county club. The club is commonly known as Durham Cricket or Durham CCC. For the upcoming Vitality Blast 2020 contest, Stuart Poynter will lead his side for the championship. He is the wicket-keeper batsman and captain to Durham for limited-overs cricket contests.

Durham is likely to go with local guys except for Handscomb and D’Arcy Short. Durham CCC has Australian top-order batsman D’Arcy Short as an opening batsman and Alex Lees as a specialist batsman. There are seven all-orders, especially Jack Burnham and Graham Clark, to play an essential role with bat and bowl.

Notts Outlaws have seven all-rounders, including two overseas players.

Yorkshire County Cricket Club called Yorkshire Vikings during Vitality Blast contests. Headingley is home to Yorkshire Vikings that is one of the 18th first-class county clubs from North Divisions. Tom Kohler-Cadmore is the captain of Yorkshire Vikings during Vitality Blast 2020.

The franchise has five top-order batsmen, of which only Gary Ballance has made international appearances. Except for captain four other batsmen such as Harry Brook, Adam Lyth, and Will Fraine as a top-order batsman. David Willey leads Yorkshire squad during first-class contests such as Specsavers County Championship and Royal One-Day Cup games.

Yorkshire opted for six all-rounders, including Willey, Jack Leaning, Duanne Olivier, Tim Bresnan, Jordan Thompson, and Josh Poysden. Yorkshire Vitality Blast T20 squad chose Nicholas Pooran and Jonathan Tattersall as wicket-keepers.

Derbys opted for nine all-rounders in the squad for the upcoming contests. Luis Reece, Wayne Madsen, Logan van Beek, and Darren Stevens are the best all-rounders in the playing XI.

Derbyshire has three wicket-keeping options in the squad, including Tom Lace, Daryn Smit, and Harvey Hosein. Australian pacer Billy Stanlake to play the upcoming season of the Vitality T20 Blast. Yorkshire five specialist bowlers Boyd Rankin, Mark Watt, Ravi Rampaul, and Hamidullah Qadri to play for the franchise.

Yorkshire retains all these players, and if any new changes expected than they will be updated. In the all-rounder’s option, Wayne Madsen, Leus du Plooy, and Matthew Critchley had been pretty impressive last season. The teams are packed-up in all eras, especially eight top-order, middle-order batsmen. Martin Guptill, who has been part of several cricket leagues and Callum Ferguson, who captained Sydney Thunders in Big Bash League are part of the line-up.

Worcestershire got plenty of options on top of the order with Olly Westbury, Joshua Dell, Jack Haynes, Daryl Mitchell, and Hamish Rutherford. In the all-rounder’s category except for Moeen Ali, there a five other options to the team. Wayne Parnell, Ross Whiteley, George Rhodes, Ben Twohig, and Brett D’Oliveira to play the upcoming cricket summer with Worcestershire Rapids.

There are nine counties in South Division to compete in Vitality Blast Twenty20 Championship for the upcoming season. As per the T20 Blast format, the top four teams from the South Division will advance to playoffs/knockouts. All nine teams in the South Division play double round-robin that means facing opponent twice at the group stage of the tournament.

Only four teams will advance to knockout that will dominate the Vitality Blast Points Table. It’s been witnessed that on average a team winning six games out of fourteen have chances to qualify in playoffs. In the playoffs, North and South Division four teams from each side will face each other in Quarter-Finals.

Surrey County Cricket Club is one of the eighteen first-class cricket counties that competes in Specsavers County Championship, Royal One-Day Cup, and Vitality Blast Championship. In the T20 Blast Fixtures 2020, Jade Derbach to captain the squad for the upcoming cricket summer. The team got plenty of great players in their line-up, including Australian top-order batsman Aaron Finch and Mark Stoneman as their top-order batting line.

Faf du Plessis has been part of different Twenty20 Cricket Leagues, including IPL, MSL, BPL, and CPL. Four all-rounders such as Alex Blake, Fred Klaassen, and Mohammad Nabi. The teams got four wicket-keeping options, one of the most including Oliver Robinson, Sam Billings, Heino Kuhn, and Jordan Cox.

Sam Billings has played a lot of limited-overs cricket and has brilliant stats. Kent got eight bowling options, including Adam Milne and  Calum Haggett. Matt Milne, Imran Qayyum, Hardus Viljoen, Mitchell Claydon, Grant Stewart, and Marcus O’Riordan.

Sussex Sharks got seven all-rounders of which David Wiese and Jofra Archer have been part of different Cricket Leagues in the past. Aaron Thomason, Delray Rawlins, Harry Finch, Ollie Robinson, Jofra Archer, and David Wiese are the all-rounders drafted by Sussex.

The team got two wicket-keeper batsmen Alex Carey and Ben Brown of which Carey lead the Adelaide Strikers during the last Big Bash Leauge 9th season. Sussex has the best bowling attack as compared to other teams in the South Division, probably best in all sides of Vitality Blast.

T20 Blast Fixtures, Schedule, Time Table and Venues

The 2020 Vitality Blast or T20 Blast- the professional Twenty20 Cricket League. The limited-overs competition run by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). A total number of 18 First-Class County Teams compete in a double-round robin T20 format. The T20 Blast Fixtures divided into two main groups called South Group and North Group. Each division (North, South) consists of nine teams that face-each others at the group stage twice.

According to the tournament format, the top four teams from the South Division and North Division advance to the next stage of the tournament. From a total of 18 Vitality Blast Teams, only eight moves to the knock-out stage of the competition. Finally, the wait is over - Natwest T20 Blast fixture announced. As per the 2020 Vitality Blast Fixtures, the mega tournament to run between May 28 - September 5.

The opening match of the 3rd season of Vitality Blast to commence between Surrey vs Middlesex at Lord’s London. The final day of the T20 Blast will be September 5, 2020, with the title game at Birmingham.  The Vitality Blast Venues include ten International Cricket Stadiums and ten country Grounds. There are twenty different venues to host the entire season with both Semi-Finals and Final at Birmingham.

As per the Natwest T20 Blast, most of the games for Vitality Blast Fixtures to begin at 06:30 PM Local Time. Make sure that you are well aware of the time difference from your country or location. England, UK is 1 hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time, and fans are requested to set clocks accordingly. The Vitality Blast match timings during August to change from 06:20 PM to 11:00 PM due to changes in weather.

Vitality Blast Fixture Details

As per the 2020 Natwest T20 Blast fixtures, the knock-out stage of the tournament to begin in August. The first phase or group stage of the tournament ends on July 12. And top four teams from North and South Division on each side to qualify for the playoffs. Four Quarter Finals are starting from August 18 with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th followed by each day. The final day of the Vitality Blast is September 5, 2020.
