Shaheen Shah Afridi is a Left-arm medium-fast bowler. He represented Pakistan in all formats of international cricket. He made his debut for Pakistan National Cricket Team in T20I against West Indies on April 3, 2018. Shaheen is 6-foot 6 inches tall and talented bowler who can bowl at 90 mph with skilled big-hitting ability. He primarily selected as a fast bowler but due to his all-rounder skill seeks to excel in bowling, batting, and fielding.
Shaheen made his first international presence and was included in Pakistan U-19 Cricket Team for the 2016 U-19 Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka. Shaheen Afridi selected for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, he took 12 wickets and became leading wicket-taker of the tournament. He picked up 9 wickets with his best bowling figure 3/27 and helped Pakistan to secure win against Singapore in their opening match of the U-19 Asia Cup.
He named a rising star of the squad by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for his outstanding bowling performance. Shaheen made his first-class debut for Khan Research Laboratories in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy on 26 September 2017. His best bowling figure in first-class cricket is with 8/39 on his debut match. In April 2018, get in Balochistan’s squad for the 2018 Pakistan Cup.
Shaheen made his debut for Lahore Qalandars during the 2018 Pakistan Super League (PSL) on 23 February 2018. He played the most recent 2019 PSL season 4 for Multan Sultans. He picked up five wickets for just four runs. Shaheen made his debut for Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League for BBL season 2017 and 2018.
He has been very impressive during the most recent PSL 2020 season for Lahore Qalandars. Shaheen superb bowling performances took Qalandars first time in the history to playoffs. He picked five wickets to haul against Islamabad Untied and his team won the must-win game.
