Pat Cummins Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Pat Cummins is an Australian International cricketer. Cummins’s full name is Patrick James Cummins. He was born on May 8, 1993, Westmead, New South Wales, Australia. 25 years old Pat is a right-handed batsman and right-arm bowling all-rounder. He is a fast bowler and lower-order batsman who gained all-rounder status in the year 2018.

Pat became part of the Australian Under-19 cricket team for ICC Under-19 World Cup to be held in Queensland in August 2012. Cummins became Australia’s youngest Test cricketer since Lan Craig in 1953. Patrick started his career with club cricket as a junior he played for Glenbrook Blaxland Cricket Club in the Blue Mountains. Pat made his debut in first-class cricket in 2010 for Penrith against Tasmania.

He has the best bowling averages in Test, ODI, and T20 with 22.02, 29.01 and 21.24 respectively. Pat has batting averages of 20.30, 11.60 and 5.00 in Test, ODI, and T20. Cummins started his international cricket career and made his debut in T20 International in October 2011, v South Africa.

He made his test debut following month in November 2011. Pat made his debut in KFC Twenty Big Bash season 2010-11 took 4 for 16 and named a man of the match against Tasmania. Cummins joined Sydney Sixers in Big Bash season 2011 but missed the Perth Scorchers for BBL season 2012 due to injury. Pat represented Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils in IPL season 2014 and 2017 respectively.

Cummins have played 64 One Day Internationals taking 105 wickets. He mostly appeared in T20’s playing 80 games and took 96 wickets. He is the most expensive player bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2020. KKR bought him for INR 15 Crores the highest bid for any overseas player. Cummins highest bid made him the hot favorite player in the IPL 2020 Auction this year.
