Mohammad Saifuddin is a bowling all-rounder with left-handed batting style and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. Saifuddin has played One Day International and T20I for his national side Bangladesh Cricket Team. He made his international first appearance during the 2016  ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, a limited over tournament hosted by Bangladesh, won by West Indies against runner-up India from January 22 to February 2016, the 11th edition of Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Saifuddin is an icon and rising star for Bangladesh Cricket as he recorded his name when he performed well in first-class cricket. Saifuddin has played List A cricket for Abahani Limited and became leading wicket-taker with 25 dismissals in 13 matches in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.

He scored his maiden first-class century with 100* unbeaten for East Zone during the same first-class cricket season 2017-18 Bangladesh Cricket League Saifuddin was the leading wicket-taker with 14 dismissals in 10 matches in 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League for Shinepukur Cricket Club.

He made his first appearance in the Bangladesh Premier League for Comilla Victorians during BPL 2016. In April 2019, he was named in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
