David Warner is an Australian International Cricketer. His full name is David Andrew Warner, he was born on 27 October 1986, Paddington, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Lloyd, the Reverend, and Bull are his nicknames. He is a left-handed opening batsman who is only Australian to play for Australia without any first-class cricket. David scored a century in his 100th ODI and became the first Australian and 8th Internationally. He remained vice-captain for Australian ODI and Test formats between 2015 and 2018. Warner is ranked 7th and 60th position for Test and T20 on ICC Player Rankings respectively.

He has been banned on March 28, 2018,  in a board meeting for all international and domestic cricket in Australia for one year and from any leadership positions permanently. David Warner return to international cricket will be applicable after March 22, 2019, as the ban will be lifted and he will become part of the Australian squad for cricket world cup 2019. He is the first Australian to reach 1500 runs in limited-overs cricket. Warner is the first batsman to score three centuries at WACA (Western Australian Cricket Association) cricket ground. Warner and Shane Watson are the only opening pair for Australia cricket and overall T20I history to score 1000 runs.

He is a former captain for the Australian national team for limited-overs cricket. He is the first Australian cricket who selected for Australia national cricket team without having experience of first-class cricket in Australia’s 132 years old cricket history. Warner surpasses the highest one-day domestic career score by scoring 197 runs for 141 balls (6’s/4’s 10/20) of Jimmy Maher’s 187 runs.  Unfortunately, he found guilty into ball-tampering along with Steve Smith by in March 2018 in a test match against South Africa in Johannesburg.

David is known as smasher due to hard and clean hitting in limited-overs cricket. Warner made the record in KFC Big Bash League by completing his half-century against Tasmania in just 18 balls. He represented Sydney Thunder as captain and smashed 102* not out off just 51 balls with the strike rate of 200 runs. Warner played for Sydney Sixers in Warner holds the most successful batsman in IPL due to his match-winning innings as top order batsman. He represented Sunrisers Hyderabad. Warner has most half-centuries 35 in IPL by an overseas player.

Watson is the first Australian cricketer to score 7 ODI centuries in a calendar year. He is the fourth player to win Allan Border Medal more than once which is a most prestigious award for outstanding performance during a season named after former Australian cricketer Allan Border.
