Lords Cricket Ground Fixture, Schedule and Time Table

Lords are known as the “The Home of Cricket” and have a historic presence by all means. As per Lords Cricket Ground Fixture, the ground regularly hosts Natwest T20 Vitality Blast, National T20 Blast, and England cricket matches. Lords Ground to host Specsavers County Championship, Royal One-Day Cup, The Hundred, and The Hundred Women games.

The stadium will start its cricket summer with the opening match between Middlesex and Worcestershire for Specsavers County Championship. Lot more cricket entertainment coming home the Natwest Vitality Blast and other tournaments. According to the England Schedule 2020, West Indies tour England in June starting with the three-Test match series.

The 3rd Test of the schedule will be played under the ICC World Test Championship. Lot more coming about Vitality Blast four games of the first phase. Lords Ground won’t host the single game for Royal One-Day Cup due to busy schedule as Pakistan, Australia and West Indies Test, ODI and Twenty20 series.

As per Australia Tour of England 2020, 1st One-Day International scheduled at Lord’s Ground starting from July 11. Australia to play Test, ODI and Twenty20 just after West Indies finishes their tour. After completing the tour, Australia will be back at home and Pakistan will tour for Test, ODI, and Twenty20 matches. As per the Pakistan Cricket Schedule, 1st Test match scheduled at Lords on July 30. The Test series amongst both teams is part of the ICC World Test Championship.

In the first-class cricket format, Middlesex and London Spirit play their Specsavers County Championship. The first match of “The Hundred” tournament scheduled between the London Spirit and Nothern Supercharges.

The Women’s Hundred tournament to commence between London Spirit Women v Northern Superchargers Women on July 30th. Lot more cricket coming to the stadium in the form of domestic Twenty20 tournaments.

Lords Cricket Ground History, Records and Stats

Lords Cricket Ground – widely known as “The Home of Cricket” named after Thomas Lord. Lord’s Ground is the home of the Middlesex County Club and owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). The home of Cricket Lords Cricket Ground is about 230 m north-west of the site of Middle Ground which holds the capacity of 28000 spectators. Lord’s 200th anniversary was celebrated on July 5, 2014. In order to celebrate the anniversary, an honorary match contested between MCC XI and World XI.

MCC XI (Melbourne Cricket Ground) captained by Sachin Tendulkar against World XI led by Shane Warne. The first match was played on the Old Ground in 1805 between Eton and Harrow as an annual match. However, this continued to 1822 but not consecutive as yearly fixtures. MCC Cricket Academy at Lord’s provides world-class coaching for children aged 3-11. MCC Cricket Academy hosts the world’s leading cricket coaching technologies, including pitch vision and hawk-eye.

For best bowling and batting analysis pitch vision and the world-famous Hawk-Eye system is used. Hawk-Eye bowling analysis provides best practice stats like virtual reality, spin, swing, and seam. Pitchvision batting analysis provides best practice analysis for player’s performances. Recently Lords has hosted Cricket World Cup and England won the title for the first time in the entire history. Lord’s Cricket Ground hosted this final on July 14, 2019.

Ben Stokes became a man of the match and player of the tournament for his consistent performances. New Zealand was runner up against England. Former English Test cricketer Graham Gooch scored a triple century at Lords with his 333 as highest innings. Ian Botham has the best bowling figure of 8/34 against Pakistan. Five ICC World Cup Finals hosted by Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Oval Cricket Ground Fixture, Schedule and Time Table

The Kennington Oval cricket ground is a busiest cricket ground in England as likely with Lords or Manchester grounds. Oval Ground remains busy throughout the season as it hosts all major tournaments for domestic, national and international cricket events. The Oval Cricket Stadium hosts NatWest T20 Blast, National T20 Cup and all cricket series of team England. Whenever England have Test, ODI or T20 series, Oval hosts at least a match from the series.

Oval Ground is the home-ground to Surrey that competes in Specsavers County Championship, Natwest T20 Vitality Blast, Royal One-Day Cup and The Hundred Men’s and Women’s tournament. Surrey’s cricket summer will begin with the first-class game between Surrey and Somerset for Specsavers County Championship. Oval Cricket Ground History, Records and Stats

Oval Cricket Ground is situated in London and well known for it’s busiest cricket schedule. Numerous cricket records have been formed for domestic, national and international cricket players. Star cricket players have recorded their names in this regard. The Oval Ground has hosts ICCC mega-events, domestic T20 tournaments or first-class cricket matches.

The ground has hosted ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, Champions Trophy and many other important series between England, NZ, AUS, PAK, AS, WI or IND, etc. The ground is very beautiful and most loved by cricket stars. Big names from the international background have posted their names on the record list like Umer Gul the best ever ODI spell in the history of international cricket.

Umer Gul picked up 5/6, Muralitharan and many others have placed their names in the history book of the Oval Cricket Ground. Surry County Cricket Club have planned development of The Kia Oval cricket ground to increase its capacity to 28000 for the redevelopment of the Lock Laker Stand. Construction work will start in November 2019, considerably to enhance match day experiences, conferences, events, and hospitality as construction work.

English former Test Cricketer, DE Malcolm has the best bowling figure of 9/57 in Test Cricket. Another English cricketer Len Hutton scored the highest individual innings of 364. Hashim Amla scored tripple century at Oval Ground with his highest innings in Test cricket of 311* unbeaten. In the current era, Jason Roy smashed his career-best One-Day format innings of 162 at Oval Ground.

In limited-overs format, Tillakaratne Dilshan (Sri Lanka) smashed 96* unbeaten innings during the Twenty20 World Cup. Chris Gayle is an outstanding batsman in the shorter format, he is at the second position of scoring highest innings at Oval Ground. The highest partnership in Test Cricket scored by Colin Cowdrey and Geoff Pullar with 590 against Australia.
