Hasan Ali is a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a right-handed batsman who represented Pakistan in all three formats of international cricket. Hasan made his one-day international debut against Ireland on August 18, 2016, for their series England and Ireland. He is the quickest bowler for Pakistan to take 50 wickets in One Day International. Hasan dismissed 45 batsmen during 2017 and named as Emerging Player of the Year by Pakistan Cricket Boards in 2017.
Hasan was named Pakistan squad for ICC Champions Trophy 2017. He picked up 13 wickets and became the joint leading wicket-taker in any Champions Trophy tournament, along with Jerome Taylor (Jamaican Windies cricketer). Hasan also won the Golden Ball for his outstanding performance in Champions Trophy. Hasan became moved to the top of the International Cricket Council’s ODI rankings for bowlers, after completing his 50 quick wickets and less than 426 days from his debut.
Hasan Ali picked up first five wickets haul in One Day International on January 22, 2017, against Australia. Hasan Ali made his debut for Peshawar Zalmi against Karachi Kings during the inaugural edition of Pakistan Super League and retained by the same franchise for all season of PSL. Hasan became leading wicket-taker during PSL 2019 recent edition, with twenty-five dismissals, and was named the Bowler of the Tournament.
