Rajasthan Royals have announced their team squad for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League. RR made some changes by replacing players from the IPL 2019 squad and recruiting new players to get a balanced team. Steve Smith is the captain of the Rajasthan Royals for the IPL 2020. Ben Ben Stokes Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer as their best players in the squad.
Rajasthan Royals squad 2020 recruited Robin Uthappa, Andrew Tye, Tom Curran, Jaydev Unadkat, and David Miller as new players to their lineup. Royals have released some players from their previous squad, including Ashton Turner, Shubham Ranjana, Prashant Chopra, and Ish Sodhi. Rajasthan Royals made one of the essential changes in their squad by replacing 11 players from their IPL 2019 squad and recruiting the same number. The reason behind the significant difference in their team to keep things balanced in batting, bowling, and field in combination.
In the last couple of IPL seasons, Rajasthan Royals lost few games just because of an imbalance squad. RR was struggling with at least one unit like they were ahead in the batting but lost the games due to poor fielding. Rajasthan Royals have four top-order batsmen, including Manan Vohra, Shashank Singh, David Miller, and captain Steve Smith. Manan Vohra is a top-order batsman who is experienced in the Limited over cricket, and he has been a long time in the tournament. The best innings he played in the IPL with his 95 runs off 50 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2013.
Steve Smith is the part of the Rajasthan Royals team since 2014, and he have several best performances on his name. Smith have already played for five franchises of the Indian Premier League, including Gujarat Lions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kochi Taskar Kerala, and Rising Pune SuperGiants. He smashed 101 runs off 54 deliveries against Gujarat lions while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
David Miller has been the regular member of Kings XI Punjab squad in his first season in the Indian Premier League 2012. Before the IPL auction 2020 Kings XI Punjab releases him, who played seven seasons for the franchise. Shashank Singh played the first season of the Indian Premier League for Delhi Daredevils in 2017. He has been in the RR squad during last season and held by the franchise for the IPL 13.
Rajasthan Royals have seven all-rounders in there Squad for the IPL 2020. Riyan Prag, Mahipal Lomror, Shreyas Gopal, Ben Stokes, Rahul Tewatia, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Anuradha Joshi.
Riyan Parag is a batting allrounder and leg-break bowler who can power Rajasthan Royals in the middle overs with the bat and ball as well. He is the only batsman to score a half-century in the IPL final as the youngest cricketer in the squad. Mahipal Lomror is a batting allrounder and slow left-arm orthodox bowler who played few games in the IPL 2019.
Shreyas Gopal is an experienced player in the Royals squad. Gopal is playing in the Indian Premier League since 2014 and have marked the number of records on his name. One of his best bowling figures in the Indian Premier League when he removed Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis in his in the same game.
Rajasthan Royals have retained Ben Stokes who is the most expensive player in the RR 2020 squad. He is known as one of the best T20 cricketers. He smashed 103 runs unbeaten for just 63 deliveries and won the game for the Royals in the last season.
Rahul Tewatia played the first season of the Indian Premier League for Rajasthan Royals in 2014 and then action to Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab. In the IPL 2018, his return to the Rajasthan Royals squad and held by the franchise for this season.
Yashasvi Jaiswal got the highest deal of his IPL career by taking INR 2.4 crore from IPL 2020 Auction by the Rajasthan Royals. Aniruddha Joshi is a batting all-rounder and right arm orthodox bowler who got few chances in the last season for RR.
