Jason Roy 89 Runs off 46 Balls against Afghanistan helped host nation to clinch victory in the warm-up games in a short time. English top order opening batsman Jason Roy gave an impressive and flying start to his team an scored 89 runs off just 46 balls. According to the source, Afghanistan batted first and scored 160 runs in 38.4 overs and got all team out. While Chasing targets Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy build a considerable partnership and score 39 runs and 89 runs respectively.

A team improved within just ten years and became strong opposition to any team in the world. The Afghan Cricket Team has made an impressive start during the WC 2019 Warm-up matches while beating Pakistan with three wickets in the opening warm-up match. Moeen Ali picked up only one wicket, conceded 42 runs in 9 overs with one maiden over. Jason Roy and Bairstow 77 runs in only 7.2 overs opening partnership secured victory for their team.

England first wicket down at 77 runs while Bairstow got stumped by Rahmat Shah ball by Mohammad Nabi. Jason Roy completed his fifty at just 27 shots and kept going with nine and a half runs rate. Jason Roy scored runs of and Joy Root scored runs off. Afghanistan used six bowlers including Hamid Hassan, Dawlat Zadran, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi, Aftab Alam, and Gulbadin Naib. But only Nabi managed a single wicket when Bairstow stumped by Rahmat while playing and coming out at the front foot.
