Hazratullah is a left-hand opening batsman and slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. As Afghanistan Team propelled by the conveyor belt of fast bowling and mystery spin bowler. Zazai made his List A cricket debut for Amo Region and first-class cricket debut for Band-e-Amir Region during the 2017 Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament and Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament respectively. Zazai is a great batsman of limited-overs cricket.Â
He has represented his national side Afghan Cricket Team in One Day International. And limited over T20I cricket and yet to make debut in Test. Zazai formed the highest ever T20I first wicket any wicket in T20I or franchise limited over cricket with partnership of 236 runs with Usman Ghani (73 off 48), previously highest partnership record was set by Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers with 229 runs in Indian Premier League 2016.
He 162* unbeaten set up the second-highest individual innings in T20I. Just after Australian skipper, Aaron Finchâs 172 runs against Zimbabwe. Zazai was congratulated by Aaron Finch on his blistering knock. Hazratullah belted 162 runs off 62 balls including 16 sixes set up highest ever T20I target of 278 runs. The previous record 263 for 3 amassed by Australia against Sri Lanka in Pallekele in 2016.
472-runs in total scored between Afghanistan with 278 runs and in chase Ireland scored 194 runs. Which set 3rd highest ever total in T20I. Zazai made his debut in the Kabul Zwaan (KÄbÉl Å¹wÄnÄn, literally “Kabul Youth”) during the first edition of Afghanistan Premier League in September 2018.
He hit six sixes in one over against Balkh Legends. And equaled his record of the fastest half-century of 12 balls with Chris Gayle and Yuvraj Singh. Zazai made his debut in the Bangladesh Premier League for Dhaka Dynamites (à¦¢à¦¾à¦à¦¾ à¦¡à¦¾à¦¯à¦¼à¦¨à¦¾à¦®à¦¾à¦à¦à¦¸) during the most recent BPL 2019 edition under Shakib Al Hasan captaincy.
