Fabian Allen is a middle-order right-handed batsman and the slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He represented West Indies in One Day Internationals and Twent20 format. Allen made his ODI debut against India on October 27, 2018, at Pune and in very next month. He made his T20I debut against India too on November 4, 2019, at Kolkata. In April 2019, he was named in the West Indies’ squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
His body balances while hitting a cracker made him clean the smasher of the ball. Then reason he is so important to play especially in mid over’s or late death overs. Fabian Allen made his first-class cricket debut in the Regional Four Day Competition for Jamaica on November 25, 2016. Allen has represented West Indian U-19 Team during the 2014 Under-19 Cricket World Cup hosted by UAE, won by South Africa against runner-up Pakistan.
Allen yet to make his debut in Test format but due to his aggressive batting style, he doesn’t fit to play. He played fourteen ODI’s and 13 Twenty20I but haven’t been successful in with the bat. Allen scored a single half-century as his career-best highest individual innings of 51 in One Day format. He owes all-round skills that’s why so important to represent in the shorter format.
He made his debut in the Caribbean Premier League for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots during CPL 2017. Allen played just13 first-class games before starting his international cricket career. He appeared in just 24 List A and 29 Twenty20 games including his league cricket career. Allen represented Multan Sultans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sylhet Sixers in PSL, IPL, and BPL. He is the best option for West Indies cricket to play a shorter format for his all-round skills.
