Colin de Grandhomme is a Zimbabwean-born-New Zealand cricketer who represented the NZ national team in all three formats of International Team. Grandhomme is batting all-rounder with right-handed batting style and right-arm medium-fast bowling. He was born on July 22, 1986, Harare, Zimbabwe. Grandhomme started his first-class career for Manicaland in Zimbabwe. De Grandhomme played for Zimbabwe in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2004, in Bangladesh. De Grandhomme has played for Auckland Aces in the State Championship since 2006.

He made his debut for Warwickshire County Cricket Club in the Natwest T20 Blast, English County Championship against Surrey at Oval during Natwest T20 Blast season 2017. De Grandhomme made his T20 International debut for NZ on February 11, 2012, against his country of birth Zimbabwe and made his One Day International debut against South Africa and got out for 36 runs off 36 balls with 100% strike rate on March 03, 2012.

Grandhomme made his Test debut against Pakistan on 17 November 2016 and picked up his maiden Test wicket by dismissing Azhar Ali, claimed his first five wickets haul as a debutant in the same match and won the Man of the Match award. De Grandhomme scored his maiden Test century off 71 balls on December 02, 2017 against West Indies and recorded the 2nd fastest test century by a New Zealand batsman.
