Dale Steyn Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Dale Willem Steyn is South African right-arm fast bowler with right-handed batting style. Steyn is the leading wicket-taker after Shaun Pollock to take over 400 wickets in Test format. He is a naturally built aggressive bowler for his usual 150 kmph bowling speeds, generates in-swing and outswing consistently at seeming bowling tracks. Steyn produces reverse swings with the solder balls at fast track.

Dale Steyn has the best bowling figure with 7/51 in Test, 6/39 in One Day International. And 4/9 in T20 International with the bowling average of 22.95, 25.95 and 17.50. Sten has had 26 five-wicket hauls and five 10 wicket hauls in Test cricket and 3 five-wicket hauls in One Day International. Style made played domestic first-class cricket and List A in different franchises within his country where he represented Titans, Cape Cobras, and Northern.

He made his debut for debut in the Indian Premier League during the inaugural edition of the IPL 2008 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and also have represented Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Lions, and Deccan Chargers in IPL different season. He made his debut in the English County Championship for Essex during the English County season 2005. And later he played for Warwickshire, Glamorgan, and Hampshire.

Steyn made his debut for Cape Town Blitz during the inaugural edition of the South African Mzansi Super League Twenty20 cricket tournament in 2018. Kagiso Rabada Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Kagiso Rabada is a South African international cricketer, who represented his national side in all formats of International Cricket. Rabada made his first international appearance in 2014, and played for List A cricket match for South Africa A Team against Australia A-Team and claimed his career-best 6/25, with an economy rate of 3.10.

He has represented South Africa Under-19 Cricket Team during ICC Under-19 World Cup hosted by UAE, SA remains victorious against runner up Pakistan. Kagiso made his first-class cricket debut for the Gauteng against Border in December 2013 in the Cricket South Africa (CSA) Provincial One-Day Competition.

Rabada is a right-arm fast bowler with a left-handed batting style. Kagiso Rabada topped the ICC ODI Bowler Rankings and ICC Test Bowlers Rankings in January 2018. In August 2018, Rabada became the youngest South African. And 3rd overall bowler to take 150 wickets in Test as of his 23 years and 50 days old.

Intl. Cricket Stats

He is the first cricketer to win six awards at South African Cricket Annual Dinner. By surpassing AB de Villiers and Hashim Amla who both have won 5 for each. Kagiso won the prize for the two times during the year 2016 and 2018 including Cricketer of the year, Test cricketer of the year, ODI cricketer of the year, Players’ Player of the year, Fans Player of the year and T20 delivery of the year.

Rabada is the 4th South African bowler to cross 900 points ratings in the ICC Test Bowler Rankings, surpassing English James Anderson with 15 points, with 902 after Shaun Pollock, Dale Steyn, and Vernon Philander. He achieved his first Test match 10 wickets haul against England in 2016, ended with 13 wickets and his best bowling figure 7/112.

Rabada achieved his best ODI bowling figure with 6/16 against Bangladesh. He achieved his best bowling figure on his debut match on July 10, 2015. He is the second bowler after Bangladeshi cricketer Taijul Islam to take a hat-trick on debut in the ODI match.

T20 League Cricket

Rabada was auctioned in the Indian Premier League for Delhi Capitals during IPL season 2017. And retained by the same franchise for the next IPL 2018 ruled out for his back injury. Rabada made his debut in the Mzansi Super League T20 tournament for Jozi Stars.

During the inaugural edition of the South African Cricket League in October 2018. Rabada made his debut in English County Championship for Kent County Cricket Club during the English County season 2016.

Lungi Ngidi Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Lungisani Ngidi - commonly known as Lungi Ngidi. He represented the South Africa National Cricket Team in all formats of International Cricket. Ngidi is a right-arm fast bowler with a right-handed batting style. He is rugby forward 1.93 m tall bowler who comfortably bowls at 145 kmph with a variety of pace deliveries and supreme accuracy made him a strong and promising prospect for South Africa cricket.

Ngidi is the striking bowler for his national side in all three formats best known for his death bowling skills. Ngidi was named in the T20 Global League for its inaugural edition to play for Benoni Zalmi, which tournament was cancelled by Cricket South Africa. Lungi made his debut in the Mzansi Super League for Tshwane Spartans, during the inaugural edition in October 2018. He Ngidi became part of the Northern cricket team squad to play Africa T20 Cup during season 2015.

He appeared in just five Test matches taking 15 wickets with his best bowling figures of 6/39. Ngidi played fourteen Twenty20 Internationals taking 24 wickets with his 4/19 best bowling figure. He is a pure talent who is more effective in all three formats of international cricket. Ngidi made his debut in the Indian Premier League for Chennai Super Kings during the IPL season 2018. 

Ngidi has single five-wickets haul in Test and One Day Internationals. He doesn’t have five wickets-haul in limited-overs cricket either T20I’s including domestic cricket structures. He is a quality bowler with a number of variations in delivered takes charge as a striking bowler. Ngidi has been a member of the SA team squad in all formats of cricket since he made his debut unless injured.

Anrich Nortje Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Anrich Nortje is a South African right-arm pace bowler with right-handed batting style. He has recently made his international cricket debut for the South African Cricket Team against Sri Lanka on 3 March 2019. Nortje normally bowls at 150 kmph speed with bounce variations. He got his name in the SA national squad for ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 but ruled out due to injury. 

He made his international appearance when he got selected for South Africa Team A against India Team A, and grabbed wickets in a 4-day series matches. His bowling action is quite simple why he is successful in deceiving batsman with various deliveries he bowls. Anrich maintains his paces and that’s why he seems good in death overs. With his dot balls, he restricts the opposition in a limited spell to the minimum run rate.

He represented his national side in all three formats of international cricket. Anrich played six Test matches so far and grabbed 19 wickets while 14 in seven ODI’s. Anrich appeared in just three Twenty20 Internationals taking two wickets. His first-class cricket stats are remarkable as he played 53 games taking 181 wickets. Nortje played just 22 Twenty games including his Mzansi Super League career.

Nortje plays his first-class cricket for Eastern Province and made his first appearance in  Africa T20 Cup during 2016. He became part of Cape Town Blitz’s squad for the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super League T20. The tournament organized by South Africa Cricket and he took 8 wickets in just 3 games. Nortje picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League auction for the IPL 2020.

Imran Tahir Profile, Career Info, Records & Stats

Mohammad Imran Tahir is Pakistani-born South African International Cricketer. He represented the South Africa National Cricket Team in all formats of International Cricket. He was born on March 27, 1979, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Tahir is a right-arm leg-break bowler with a right-handed batting style. He has played first-class cricket in Pakistan and represented Pakistan A and Pakistan Under-19 cricket team. But failed to win full international honors for Pakistan.

Imran shifted to South Africa in 2005 after four years of his stay he got nationality. Imran Tahir has played three T20 International matches for the World XI side. Against Pakistan in August in the 2017 Independence Cup in Lahore. He has recorded the most economical bowling figure in One Day Internationals for South Africa with 2 wickets for 14 runs from 10 overs with the economy of 1.4 runs per over against New Zealand on March 4, 2017.

Imran is the 4th South African bowler to take seven wickets with 7/45 in One Day International and recorded his best bowling figure on June 15, 2016. Tahir is the first South African and 4th overall bowler to take 4 wickets in all three mega-events of ICC, World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy. Tahir is the 4th South African bowler to take a hat-trick in One Day International with 6/24 runs in six overs against Zimbabwe on October 3, 2018.

Imran Tahir made his debut in domestic first-class cricket for Punjab in 1996 and played until 2006, before shifting to South Africa. He has played other than Punjab for Water & Power Development Authority, Sui Northern Gas, Sialkot and Lahore Lions. Tahir has played South African domestic structure first-class and T20 cricket for Titans, Dolphins and Highveld Lions.

He made his debut for Middlesex during the English County Championship season 2003 and played for other teams including Hampshire, Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Durham, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire. Tahir made his debut for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League during IPL season 2014 and retained by the franchise for the next two IPL season. He also played for Rising Pune Supergiants and Chennai Super Kings.

Imran made his debut in the Mzansi Super League Twenty20  for Nelson Mandela Bay Giants during the inaugural edition of series. He has played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League during CPL season 2018. Tabraiz Shamsi is a South African slow left-arm chinaman bowler with a right-handed batting style. Chinaman is Left-arm unorthodox spin Left-arm unorthodox spin. Shamsi is a slow left-arm wrist-spin and formerly as a chinaman. He is a type of left-arm wrist leg-spin bowling in the sport of cricket. Shamsi made his first-class cricket debut for Gauteng during 2010-2011 and played for various first-class cricket clubs including Dolphins, KwaZulu-Natal, and KwaZulu-Natal Inland.

Shamsi has played List A cricket for Easterns during season 2014. He has also represented Highveld Lions and Titans professional cricket franchises in South Africa. Shamsi has represented South Africa National Cricket Team in all formats of International Cricket. Shamsi became the leading wicket-taker with 16 wickets in 11 matches and 26 wickets in 9 matches in the 15th edition of CSA T20 Challenge, while playing in Ram Slam T20 Challenge and Momentum One Day Cup during 2017-18.

He made his T20I debut against England on June 21, 2017, however, he took his maiden wicket while dismissing Virat Kohli during the same year in a T20 series match. Shamsi made his Test debut against Australia and picked up his maiden Test wicket by dismissing Nathan Lyon on November 24, 2016.

T20 Cricket League

Tabraiz was named in Stellenbosch Monarchs, squad for the inaugural edition of the T20 Global League, in August 2017. Global T20 League tournament was canceled by Cricket South Africa. Shamsi made his debut for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League during season 2015. He retained by the same franchise in the most recent edition of CPL 2018.

He is a joint leading wicket-taker for his team with 10 wickets in 9 matches for Paarl Rocks, during the inaugural edition of the Mzansi Super League. Shamsi made his debut for  Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League in the IPL season 2016, 2017 and 2018. He has played for Northamptonshire County Cricket Club during season 2017, English County Championship.
